The MQP Ministry Fair is happening this weekend after all Masses in the Marian Social Hall! Come explore the many ways you can share your time and talents through parish ministry. We invite you to prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to serve and grow within our MQP faith community.

A special blessing will be offered at the 9am Mass on the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, Saturday, September 27th, for Vincentians from St. Joseph, Our Lady of Sorrows, and Mary, Queen of Peace. A fellowship celebration with coffee and refreshments will follow in the Marian Social Hall, open to all Vincentians. Parishioners interested in learning more about the St. Vincent de Paul ministry are warmly encouraged to attend.

If you would like to have items blessed, please bring them to the Mary Chapel at MQP after the 6pm Mass on Wednesday, October 1st. You're welcome to bring items such as salt, oil, water, candles, religious articles, medals, prayer cards, and scapulars. To make things easier, you may drop off your items in the Mary Chapel before Mass, so you don’t have to carry everything with you during the liturgy.

Women's Breakfast will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 9:30-11:00am in the Marian Social Hall. The presentation will be on Fr. Michael Gaitley’s book, 33 Days to Morning Glory: A Do-It-Yourself Retreat in Preparation for Marian Consecration.

All are invited to our Annual MQP Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 4th at 11am. in the Plaza. A special blessing for your pet (leash or crate, please).

Order your wreaths and poinsettias between October 18th and November 9th. Wreaths are $22.00, and 6.5” poinsettias in red, pink, and white are $16.50. Pickup will be December 6th and 7th. Stay tuned for more details!

MQP will once again be collecting gloves, hats and scarves for the homeless. Please put your items in the basket in the Narthex during the month of October. Thanks for sharing your talents!

The beginning of the year is also a time for beginning sacramental preparation journeys, sharing more fully in the life of God.

  • First Confession and First Eucharist preparation begins in 1st grade for children receiving the sacraments in 2nd grade. Classes begin Saturday, October 18th at 2:30pm / Tuesday, October 21st at 5pm the Pope Room.

  • Adult Catholics who have not yet been Confirmed are invited to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit — we’re offering three Saturday retreats this year to help you prepare.
