On Saturday, May 2nd, following the 9am Mass, parishioners are invited to process to the Grotto for the Crowning of Mary. On Sunday, May 3rd all are invited to attend the 11am Mass dedicated to Mother Mary and to be part our Annual May Crowning in the Church.

The OCIA Inquiry (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a welcoming process for individuals seeking to explore and learn more about the Catholic faith. Come to our next Inquiry session on Thursday, May 7th, at 7pm in the San Pedro Room at MQP. Weekly OCIA sessions will begin in mid-September 2026. Come and see! For more info, contact OCIA@mqp.org

If you would like to have items blessed, please bring them after the 6pm Mass on Wednesday, May 13th. You're welcome to bring items such as salt, oil, water, candles, religious articles, medals, prayer cards, and scapulars. To make things easier, you may place your items on the table in the Narthex before Mass, so you don’t have to carry everything with you during the liturgy.
Join Catholics from all over Western Washington for the ASCEND Eucharistic Revival on Saturday, May 16th at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. Inspired by the experiences of the 2024 National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, ASCEND seeks to provide Catholics in the Pacific Northwest a day of faith-strengthening, spiritual enrichment, and sacramental participation with the hope of increasing belief in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and drawing all attendees into a deeper relationship with God through His Son. Mental health is a vital part of our holistic well-being, and the Church is called to be a place of healing, understanding, and support. We are excited to announce the launch of a new Mental Health Ministry in our Parish Family. To kick off this initiative, we invite all adult parishioners to our inaugural quarterly speaker event "Understanding Grief Through the Lens of Faith" which will take place at MQP on Sunday, May 17th at 7pm. All adult parishioners are welcome, and those interested in helping can contact office@mqp.org.

Save the Date: Night of Taizé
Experience an evening of meditative prayer, sacred music, and silence at our Taizé Prayer Night. Rooted in the Taizé Community in France, this contemplative service combines simple chants, Scripture reflection, and Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. It’s a chance to pause, breathe, and rest in God’s presence—perfect for students, parents, workers, or anyone seeking peace. Wednesday, May 27th, after the 6pm Mass at Mary, Queen of Peace. No experience needed—come as you are and bring a friend.

Prepares Baby Shower news:
The weekend of May 30th/31st, we will be hosting a Prepares Baby shower at MQP. We’re looking for small baby blankets to share with new moms. If you’d like to contribute, blankets 24” x 24” or smaller would be greatly appreciated. Your handmade gift will bring warmth and joy to a family in need!
