Due to current weather conditions, the MQP parish will close after the 9am Daily Mass today. All parish events, meetings, and activities scheduled for the remainder of the day are canceled. This decision has been made out of concern for the safety of our parish community. Please consider the conditions in your area when deciding whether to come to Mass, and travel safely if you do. St. Joseph and Our Lady of Sorrows will also host a Soup Supper every Friday during Lent at the same time.

Last call! March 15th is the final day to order Easter flowers!! Order your favorite spring flowers for the upcoming Easter celebration. Hydrangeas, Azaleas and Lilies, in 6" pots, will be available for pick-up at MQP on March 28th and 29th. Flowers can also be donated to the parish to enhance Easter season Liturgies. Palm branches that have been blessed by a priest and used for Catholic Church services, especially those used on Palm Sunday, are holy objects and should not be disposed in the regular fashion.

On the weekend of March 22nd and March 29th parishioners are invited to return their blessed palm branches and other religious items for proper disposal. Baskets will be available in the Narthex after all Masses. 

We are once again going to provide 225 Easter baskets to children through the IFCB. The baskets are available once again this weekend 14th/ 15th. Please return your filled baskets no later than the weekend of March 21st/ 22ndIf you are unable to take a basket but wish to support this project, monetary donations are always much appreciated. Click here to give. Kicking off April 12th, the first Sunday after Easter! In the meantime, all middle and high school students are invited to connect and hang out this Sunday, March 15th at the teen tables during Coffee and Donuts after both Masses. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet, have fun, and build community!

Archdiocese Reaffirms Commitment to Victim Survivors

July 12, 2024  - King County Superior Court Judge Michael Scott ruled that the attorney general does not have legal authority to enforce a subpoena against the Archdiocese of Seattle, specifically noting that the religious exemption in the Charitable Trust Act stands.
